Grain Room Formerly the grain store room for a rural farm supply merchant, now totally transformed into a very comfortable upmarket studio unit. Step out through the French doors onto your own private deck to enjoy the beautiful views of Central Otago. A queen bed and single bed with ensuite, with complimentary continental breakfast and television.

Jacks Shed A quaint early 1900's style unit complete with a very comfortable queen size brass bed and television. This cosy room with ensuite is the owners personal favourite and has a very special courtyard for you to enjoy. Self catered continental breakfast is provided.

Manuherikia and Hawkdun Two brand new studio units, one named after our beautiful river Manuherikia, which flows through Omakau and the other after the Hawdun mountain range that has been made even more famous by local artist, Graham Sydney.
Both units are complete with a queen and a single bed along with television. Very comfortable with ensuites and private courtyards. Self catered continental breakfast is provided.

Matakanui
A brand new family studio unit named after the Matakanui township which was built as a result of the gold rush in the 1860's and is nestled at the base of the Dunstan mountain range. This room has a queen size bed along with two single beds and also has disabled facilities. This spacious unit has a television, ensuite and a large private courtyard to enjoy along with your complimentary breakfast.

- We are located just steps from the Otago Central Rail Trail, local shops, cafe and the beautiful Manuherikia river.
The local country pub (Omakau Commercial) has an excellent menu and selection of central otago wines. It also offers outside inside dining at McKinnons which is an old stone building which were originally used as stables and has been made famous by being the set for the "Good on ya mate" Speights televisions advertisements.

Location:
We are located at 5 Harvey Street, Omakau between the old Bank of New Zealand and the old Omakau Post Office. If you are travelling by car, turn off the main street ( SH 85) by the Omakau Commercial Hotel and we are located on your left. If travelling along the rail trail turn into Harvey Street which is adjacent to the Omakau school and we are 100 metres on your right.
