Welcome to the friendly Lauder Hotel. Built in times of the horse and coach, this authentic Central Otago hotel borders the old Lauder Rail Station site, which means the hotel is literally right on the Central Otago Rail Trail.
The Lauder Hotel has new owners, the Patterson family of Gerald and his son, Chris and daughter in law, Pip. We invite you to come and meet us. Gerald and his friendly staff welcome you to a good old country hotel. .

The “pub” is a must stop for travelers, rail trail riders and locals, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere. All day snacks will be available every day with good hearty country meals served seven nights a week. The cellar will be stocked with NZ’s favourite beers and a good selection of Central Otago wines. To make the most of Central Otago’s long hot summers, there is a wonderful garden bar and other outdoor areas are to be developed. Plans include a petanque court and a place for kids to play.
