New White Horse Hotel, Becks

Old White Horse Hotel, Becks

The original hotel at Becks is the main feature of the community today.
It was commissioned to be built by John Beck in 1864 from stackstone.
The Old White Horse Hotel as it was known is an ongoing
restoration project for locals.
A ‘new’ White Horse Hotel was built on the opposite side of the road
in 1925 and is still in use today  and provides accommodation and meals.
