microwave and bench-high fridge.
Laundry facilities available by arrangement.

There are great views of the town, surrounding mountains
and rocky hills from all rooms.

Within easy walking distance to shops and town centre.
Shaky Bridge is but a few steps away, and across the bridge
is an excellent cafe, situated in a restored early pioneer cottage.

 Alexandra is well known for its orchards - fantastic blossom in the spring
and the Blossom Festival in September - winter sports,
and has a fast developing wine industry.

Easy road access to Queenstown, Wanaka, West Coast and glaciers.
The winter ski resorts at Coronet Peak, Cardrona, Treble Cone and the Remarkables are all within easy driving distances.

The incredible autumn colours are a photographers delight.

The area is also known for its trout and salmon fishing
in  the surrounding rivers and lakes.
All the usual outdoor recreational activities are catered for including golf,
tramping, swimming, mountain biking and not forgetting the
Central Otago Rail Trail.

The area is steeped in early pioneer and gold mining history and
many examples of this bygone era are within easy reach by car.
There is also some great 4 x 4 country.

Directions:

From the South - Roxburgh etc.
Proceed into Dunorling Street and follow the directions for SH85.
Turn into Fox Street at the Shell Service Station.

From the West - Clyde etc
follow the directions for SH85 and proceed as above.

From the Northeast - State Highway 85
proceed down Tarbert Street and turn left into Fox Street at the Shell Service Station.
